Affiliated with the American Recorder Society, the Dallas Recorder Society promotes early music and recorder playing. Its director is Jennifer Carpenter. The group will perform an afternoon concert and will be joined by the Viola da Gamba Society, Rio Brazos Ensemble and Cornell Kinderknecht.

The Texas Toot
The 2016 Fall Texas Toot

The Fall Texas Toot is a short weekend workshop with instruction in recorders, viols, early reeds, harp, lute, voice, and more. This is our 40th annual Fall Toot. It's dedicated to the memory of Tom Zajak.

Featuring Héloïse Degrugillier, Jennifer Carpenter, Susan Richter, Frank Shirley, Rosamund Morley, Carol Deihl, Jane Leggiero, Peter Maund, Therese Honey, Bruce Brogdon, Daniel Johnson and others.
